A popular material used to make shatterproof windows with better light transmission than most types of glass (Light Transmission: 89%). Polycarbonate is temperature resistant, high impact resistance (virtually indestructible) approximately 250 times stronger than glass and great optical properties. The clear polycarbonate sheets are UV stabilised, good electrical insulator, heat resistant and high flame retardant properties. Polycarbonate can be easily fabricated, moulded and thermoformed to create any designs. Half the weight of plate glass, making handling and installation more convenient.
